Gillingham have boosted their squad ahead of Saturday’s trip to Plymouth by bringing in Reading winger Jordan Obita on a month’s loan.
The 18 year old has been drafted in by Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler on a youth loan and as such is available to go straight into the sixteen man squad.
With eight games to play in March, Hessenthaler has felt it necessary to bring in extra bodies for the gruelling month ahead.
Obita has made two League Cup appearances for Championship side Reading, whilst having a month on loan at Barnet in January and February.
The England Under 18 and Under 19 winger made six appearances for the Bees in that time and has been allowed to come out to The Gills with a view to getting more experience.
